ENERGAZER has successfully completed a 12-month
consultancy project for the
Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, marking a significant milestone in the country’s ongoing efforts
to strengthen
energy efficiency. The project focused on conducting a comprehensive assessment of energy
consumption patterns across
multiple sectors of the economy as well as households, identifying key inefficiencies, and
developing tailored
recommendations to drive sustainable improvements.
Over the course of the year, ENERGAZER’s team of
experts carried out
in-depth diagnostics, technical evaluations, and stakeholder consultations with government bodies,
industry
representatives, and sector specialists. This multi-layered approach ensured that the analysis
reflected both
practical realities on the ground and the strategic objectives of Azerbaijan’s national energy
policy.
The final report, submitted on December 18, 2024,
outlines actionable
measures to enhance efficiency, reduce energy losses, and optimize resource use. It also provides
a framework for
integrating modern technologies and international best practices into Azerbaijan’s energy
management systems..
