Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer (Electrical Works) to join our team on a two-year energy infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will oversee quality control for high-voltage electrical construction, ensuring all work is executed according to approved designs, international standards, and project specifications.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical power sector (preferably high-voltage
projects)
Previous involvement in internationally funded infrastructure projects is an advantage
- Familiarity with overhead line construction and substation development
- Knowledge of quality control processes, electrical codes, and standards
- English proficiency is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on-site
Responsibilities
Support the Chief Electrical Engineer in developing execution plans and schedules Supervise and monitor the implementation of electrical works across the project Ensure all activities comply with approved technical documentation and design drawings
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Conduct regular inspections to verify work accuracy and enforce quality control
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and non-conformance records
- Collaborate with construction, design, and safety teams to resolve technical issues
- Report any deviations from standards and assist in implementing corrective measures
